How did this guy ever get into the U.S. Naval Academy?

Which brilliant Congressman/Senator gave him a recommendation?

And the police chief feels sorry for this P.O.S.?

Another classic example of an athlete thinking he's above the law, looking for star treatment.

C'mon Sentinel -- Journalism 101:

1) When was he arrested?

2) When did the incident occur?

3) Where did it occur?

4) Who was allegedly attacked?

5) Was it before or after March 15, when he was dismissed from the football team?

6) In either case, it is inaccurate to call him "a Bethune-Cookman football player. Try former B-CC football player ...

How does the Chief feel sorry for this thug? America needs to get off of it's perverted obsession with Athletes and movie stars. Stop feeling sorry for them when they commit the same horrendous crimes that the rest of the lowlifes in society commit. Pathetic.

Brandon did not leave the naval academy because he did not make the varsity team. He left for possession of marijuana.

He was also an excellent student in high school and graduated with an International Baccalaureate diploma.

I've known Brandon since high school and he was never a "thug".

What is that? Did he get it at Wal-Mart? Or did he beat someone up and steal it?

I'm the guy Brandon hit. I never saw him as a thug either but he started changing. I owed him $160 which I loaned to a friend. After he tied me up I was supposed to bring Brandon to him to collect the money Brandon's way. I never saw this coming from him he always seemed like a straight up dude. I'm just glad I survived and am glad to see him paying for his crimes. An ass beating would have been suffice he went a little overboard. All I can remember is him finding a sock in my room and blind folding me with it an saying "Pretty creative huh". That's when I knew I had to get away and that this wouldn't end well.
