<quoted text>Hey tough guy,I get that your Army, and I respect your service, however,as one who served at sea,I can assure you the danger is real.An other thing,I hope you aren't mocking those whom serve at sea,if you knew what they faced you might think feel differently.Maybe you should read a little about navel battles, before you shoot off your ignorant mouth again.all service is equally valuable.to indicate otherwise is insulting.GO Navy
Oh yeah? I don't remember that great Iraqi naval battle that you're talking about. The Navy did shoot cruise missles over my head, thanks for that. The only navy I saw were Seabees and MP dog units. Other than that, it was just me and my team of ultimate badasses kickin in doors, and hog-tying the bad guys. God I miss my SAW.

Bravo to welcoming the Navy team this Saturday with a standing ovation!!!I will be there. standing and cheering loud and proud to support our future troops!! I am fortunate to attend several OSU games a year, and I must admit, I am embarrassed every game when "we" OSU fans boo the opponet as they come out on the field. And I don't care that all the other schools do the same thing! Can't we be better than that? Whatever happened to showing good sportsmenship? I wish we could first welcome them (to the Shoe) with a warm applause, then kick their butts during the game. I've said many times if Jim Tressel would make a plea to the fans via the big video screen in the stadium before the game perhaps we could become the first to actually make our opponets welcome to OSU stadium! I'm just saying..........

Thanks for letting me finally get this off my chest...

Now GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!

The only team I'd boo is that nasty team up north.

And perhaps this can be a good start to the season? Could OSU fans manage not to "boo" every other team that comes on the field? I'm as big a Buckeye Football fan as anyone, but I can't bring myself to publicly denounce some students from another school. It' like booing the sacrificial lamb on the way to the altar. Go bucks.

are you saying, that the only danger comes from kicking in doors?aren't the seabees risking life and limb?aren't ships in harms way,by just being in a war zone?aren't there seal teams over there, how about the fighters coming off those carriers, and how about the guys that will become Marines don't they have some skin in the game, but my guess is that you and your buddies kicking a@#,and taking no prisoners are just of a part of a greater war effort,of which your not your fully aware.all service is equally valuable.

Hey, c'mon now, we have a respectful rivalry. My cousin, who was a Seabee, was in Iraq with me during the invasion. I've heard his stories. I had the Naval MP dog bomb squad unit attached to mine for many missions. Marines....well....the sane ones are pretty cool. At least they aren't afraid to get shot. I work with a diverse group of veterans, mainly army and dept of the navy guys/gals. We're used to breakin each others balls, so take nothing I say seriously.

Infantry still leads the way though, tough guy.:o)

We had F-16 flying over head when we invaded An Najaf in MAR/APR 03. After that we just had Apache and Kiowa Warriors.

It's a football game...let's go crack some helmets and settle this like men.

Please, just take your damn hats off for the National Anthem. That's the best way to pay respects to all uniformed service members.
