I am a native Texan and live in SA, most people here in SA are rooting for the Tigers!! OU sucks (coming from a native Texas) I hope the Mizzou pulls it off. I am sick of Bob Stoops. We need a new team not the same old schools. Oh and we love you northern chicas down in San Antone.

Go Tigers!!

Well, its Sunday morning. WVU went down in a close game to an inspired Pitt defense/ground game. Missouri was outplayed in the second half by a talented Oklahoma team. Ohio State will play in N O for the BCS championship. All our opinions and hopes must now accomodate what happened. Frankly, I had hoped to see OSU play LSU in their back yard from the very begining of the season. If there is to be redemption from last year's inadequate showing, that's where it will be found. Good luck to WVU and Missouri in their bowl games.

Thanks for the sentiments, Michael. It was a heart breaking game, one in which Pitt unquestionably deserved to win, and sadly, WVU deserved to loose. Pitt's "D" was AWSOME. WVU's oft maligned "D" played well again, in a wasted effort reminiscent of the game at S FL. WVU's offense just wasn't there. I mean, 2 dropped pass attempts for fumbles, before there was even contact??? Makes ya wanna scratch your sack.

Odd thing, I'm not really surprised by all of this. While I'm a little disappointed, because I did have higher hopes, WVU is exactly where I figured them to be. I've stated many times in earlier threads: 10-2, about 10th ranked. They're 10-2 and currently ranked 11th. That doesn't make me an expert or pundit. But, given the new faces along the offensive line, and some continuing issues in the secondary, not to mention a little regression in Pat Whit's decision making or the lack of adjusting to teams defending against Slaton, I'm just not surprised with the results.

Best of luck to OSU against LSU. That should be a good one!!!

I am glad that WVU gets the oppurtunity to play Oklahoma in the Fiesta rather than VT or Hawaii. I think most of the nation thinks Oklahoma to be one of the best teams in the nation, and WVU needs to do something to earn back some national respect before verbal recruits start jumping ship. As a WVU fan the Pitt loss really really hurts and if you'll look back to some threads before the season started, I was worried about that game beating WVU out of a NC spot before the season even got started. The reason it hurts me so much is because I think if we made it to the NC game that the EEr D was good enough this season to actually win the game! Next year no Schmitt,Reynaud,Dykes,Dingle,M agro,Wicks,Mundy,Rivers, Lewis, etc... I'm afraid this was the Mountaineer's year and they blew it. Hopefully I am wrong and the defense will be good again next season, but I just do not see it. I have put this on all the EER threads I can find
