Kudos on the HUGE win last night.

Now....LET The Rumors Begin:

Crump and Grant were suspended for violating team rules because of:

A.} smoking weed
B.} smoking weed and drinking alcohol
C.} smoking weed, drinking alcohol with a prositute
D.} smoking weed, drinking alcohol with prositutes provided by boosters!

I'll bet it was nothing more than a curfew violation. Not a stellar win but a solid win.

Think there's no pro-IU, anti-Purdue bias at The Star? Then why does The Star employ a dedicated IU sports writer while just tapping into Gannett for Purdue reports by the Lafayette Journal and Courier?

Should have been the third loss in a row. If the kid drops that lay up in with 2 seconds to go. That makes it Wofford at home Iowa St and Missouri St. on neutral courts. That's a nasty skid. So Moore is better than Gordon. Yeah right. Don't worry we only have him for a year we will be reloaded and ready for you in 08.

Purdue and Illi-Noise fans started the rumors of the IU drug use players on blogs. The same is occurring towards PU from IU sites.
Drugs were involved definitely, prositutes were there, and someone else was picking up the tab.
Things are gonna get worse. Now you have Painter hiding what is going on, and no grades are postes yet from the semester. Something smells, and it is coming from Laughiette.
You are just jeolous that Purdue is running a clean program and if Brand was not head of the NCAA then IU would be on probation right now. Brand is to scared to do anything against IU. He did enought when he got rid of Knight.

LOL, to think IU is in better position next year than Purdue is down right comical!!! Get your kick's in now while you can. Would not be suprised to see these young kid's mature enough to go into Gloominton this year and break your little cheating heart's.

They were probably loafing on D or not executing the play calls.

Painter says it wasn't academic. He's not lying.

They either were late to practice or weren't playing like they should.

Dude,
They don't have the money for a Purdue guy, and they can get the JC man for cheap. They can't get the Bloomington Herald guy for cheap, because he's not working for the same company. It's that simple.

...consolation game....consolation season....consolation program

Congrats anyway to PU.

I heard those players got busted for cell phone use after curfew...making obscene calls to Sampson no doubt; all college players know his number. Now PU has its own cell phone scandal!

And, how is THAT relevant. They won the friggin' game!

If they lost, they would have lost.
So what!?
They didn't lose.
Who said Moore could outplay Gordon, straw man?

When the Boilers show up in the Top 50 in the country, maybe they can earn the right to have their own writer at the Star...budget cuts are tough for everyone...!

What I want to know is when is the Star going to assign a writer to cover the exploits of the best college hoops team in the state...? The Mighty Butler Bulldogs have whooped up on every team in the state over the past 4 or 5 years and still get no love from the Star...If you would have read last week's paper, you would have had to look hard to find that Butler was at the Wooden Classic, too...
