Nice tradition when it was held at the UTEP Soccer Stadium. It gave it that College Rivalry sense to the whole atmosphere. Kids running from activity to activity, adults dancing in the huge field and teens throwing the pigskin around. And after the fireworks it was off to the bars and/or restaurants at a walking distance. Now it has a stink of commercialism and it bunches up all the people into the civic center where all a visitor can do is be confined to a hotel room because downtown El Paso has all but a town mentality in entertainment...all this from an El Pasoan point of view.

I've had a lot of fun attending the tradition at the convention center. Many people and activities in the entire complex and now it isn't dependent on the weather. Plus we take in the lights downtown while we are there!
It is a great activity I stumbled on three years ago and now I really look forward to it!!!
See you there!!
It was nice to see a breakdown of the times of the events. That is what I was looking for.
