Congratulations to the players and the coaches for reaching the final four, it's a great honor indeed. I can't wait to see who your next victim, I mean opponent will be. Good wishes going forward.

What are you implying? Why make this a racist issue?

Care to explain what you're implying, please? If the player wearing a suit had been Ed Nelson or Jake Voskuhl would you have made that comment?

It's ashame what has happened to this program. This season will always have "Greed and Cheating" hovering over it.
Still happy for the boys though. It's not their fault.

Get over it. Don't worry, there is more to do in Ohio. Once, the negative crowd shuts the UConn hoops program down, Connecticut can become the senior citizen, overpriced, over taxed state that you want.
You are so correct!! There is so much more to do in Ohio. This is a terrible state to live in. I do disagree with you on one point... UConn will shut itself down, not the fans.

Don't hate the players. If what happened is true, the players are not the ones who did it. Let them enjoy their accomplishments.

i am not the biggest uconn sports fan but excellence must be recognized. for all you out there who criticize jim calhoun for 1) his salary, 2) his comments regarding his salary, and 3) the recent news of the alleged improper conduct in recruiting nate miles, i ask you this: what does uconn do when jim calhoun retires?
it is only then that you will see his worth and how hard it is to achieve excellence on a consistent basis.

The writer who comments on Dyson's suit is racist, whether he knows it or not. The asssumption that Jerome Dyson couldn't possibly have anyone in his life - girlfriend? uncle?- with enought money for a suit is blantantly prejudicial. Stupid really- the kind of thing only a person who lives in an all white town would be likely to think.

From listening to the CBS announcers I had thought that Mizzou had won. Please replace them for the Final Four. Go Huskies

It looks like Cameo is back but using CALHOUN in his screen name and changed his area to another MA town. Hey, bud, the green eyed monster festers deep in your soul, you need medical attention.
Hey, turned off sound, keep the tv sound off and tune into the CT radio station that carry instead, much better play by play and a lot less garbage talk.

Great game, great win, great team!

Why pit the women's team against the men's team? I'm for both doing a repeat of 2004! GO HUSKIES!

As for the idiotic, boring detractors on this site: why watch? Spring training for baseball is on. So are cartoons. Watch them.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!

well how nice . The men are in the final four for the third time!! The women have been there that that they have lost track of them. Could it be the difference in the coaches is one of them really worth that much more than the other. when the men get as good as the women then you can give them the publicity
Well, it's nice that knowledgeable people like John come out of the woods and offer comments about coaches.
Too bad John hasn't considered the quantity of good teams in the men's game vs. the women's game.
No doubt Geno is probably the best coach in the country, at least in the women's game, but if John had a clue he'd never make such a comment with its obvious negative connotation regarding Calhoun.
If Calhoun is so inferior, please tell us what other coach has won 2 championships in the past 10 or 20 years other than Billy Donovan (who only did so because 3 of his key players stayed for another year--it helps that they had wealthy fathers and didn't need the money they'd get by leaving early).
Tell us John, who are the great coaches in the men's game?

Sounds like a fan of The Ohio State University. Home of Woody Hayes and other class acts.
Could this be frustration over how their overrated football team has fared in the past two bowl series games?

Hey Dipster who put your lame azz in charge of the blog? Did you ever wonder why no one, even UConn fans respond to you and you get nothing but negative ratings. Maybe it's because they also think you're a blithering idiot like the rest of us. I see someone was using your screen name recently. Why someone would take the screen anme of a high schooler is beyond me. Maybe momma's boy you should change yours to something more fitting. I'm thinking Norman Bates. Now get back upstairs and massage mommy's bunyons a little more so she'll give you some more computer time.
I hear Bellicheat and Calhoun are collaboraing on a new book called "The Rules Don't Apply To Us".
For the real UConn fans good luck. If you don't win it this year it may be a while once the punishment comes down.

Try my simple solution: turn your TV volume down to zero, turn on music, and enjoy the game.

There's only one "college" player in that photo, and he's not Ed Nelson or Jake Voskuhl. What are YOU implying?

I believe the point was that a college student is dressed in a mighty expensive suit, how could an "amateur" afford it? I graduated from the 5th best engineering school in the US and I had to borrow money from my parents to buy a suit for my job interviews.

Reminds me of poor El-Amin years ago. Here he was, a mere student at the UConn yet he had a CADILLAC (the one he was driving when he was stopped for drug possesion)!!
