Once the newness of the new stadium wears off, there won't be anyone in the stands to watch poor pathetic gopher football year after year! This team doesn't deserve a bowl bid! The Little Ceasar bowl is even too good for them! Tired of crappy gopher football! Tired of it!

Just another pathetic performance by Weber and company on offense. Don't these guys work on getting better during the week cause it hasn't showed since the Cal game. They get worse every single week! Maturi should fire Brewster (along with the entire coaching staff) and then himself.

Blocking has been a nightmare for a long time for this Minnesota team.Unfortunately Henderson will likely go to the once football factory Notre Dame and stagnate there like so many others recently.Just making it a bit tougher for the Gophers to take a step up in the rankings.Brewster's problems with bad actors on the squad and bad blocking and tackling don't help much either.Recruiting has let in a ray or two of hope. After next year we will all know if change is coming!

I'm the guy who's promoting the de-emphasis of sports at the U of Mn. We have proven over and over for the past 40 years we can't compete in the Big Ten. We should spearhead an Upper Midwest Conference against SDSU, UMD, UND, NDSU, N Iowa, N Illinois, N Colorado maybe Colorado State. The upcoming bus trip for the Iowa game is a step in the right direction. Instead of a $66 million athletic budget, slash it to $15 million. It'll take a couple of years for everyone to adjust, after that it'll be business as usual, no one will even notice the difference.

How many teams have been to the Rose Bowl since our last appearance? ALL OF THEM.... How many BIG games has Brew won? NONE!!! This program is a HUGE embarassment. Rah Rah Brew crew won by TWO VERY fortunate plays. 1)Missed chip shot field goal. 2)Turnover which was largely due to a bad snap. They could not even get a TD out of that! They had the ball on the 11 flippin yard line. Brewster was totally playing the field goal and praying that the D would hold. Weber is like a lost puppy without Decker. You can not put so much emphasis and rely so much on one player at this level of football. Brewster was NEVER a head coach prior to this at ANY level. How in the world do you get a head coaching job in the Big Ten without any head coaching experience? Unfortunately we are probably stuck with this clown for 2 more years. I give him next year and that is it. He will have had 3 years of recruiting and implementing his 'system' if you can call it a system. Maybe some alum with deep pockets can buy out his last year if he has a terrible season next year.

How much more Adam Webber do we have to put up with? What a waste of 300 million dollars on a team that doesnt even deserve to play at the dome. They should have made these scrubs play at a high school field or something. Too bad the whole state of Minnesota now has to lose our NFL team so we could provide for these bologna breath rapists.

As the year goes by they get worse. It seems Brewster has no clue what is going on. If the U wants to contend they must get a coach who has some experience. It was a disgraceful showing. At the end I was rooting for SDSU to beat the U. This seems the only way Maturi will get rid of Brewster and his Offensive Coordinator. Next week Iowa, score 47-0. Goodbye Brewster.

First time looking into this comment board, but there appears to be a good number of idiots here. Your Gophers won over a fairly good team, if you were Badger, Buckeye, Hawkeye or any other fan of your team you woul be celebrating as you would be smart enough to know a win is a win no matter who stand upon the other side line. I would say most of you numb heads are not UofM Gophers fans and are only here to try to take down a group that is trying to build something positive. Perhaps you should find a new life or find somewhere else to spread your negative vibe. Good Bye.

We build this program a new stadium and they can barely defeat a division II team. They should have spent top dollar for a head coach. See you in the Toilet Bowl !!

I have no idea why Brewster continues to use Weber. He has shown for three years that he isn't a good quarterback. I guess it is good news that Weber will end the season as the all time leader in interceptions thrown. As a transplanted Minnesotan here in the Valley of the Sun...it looks like maybe Weber has pictures of Brewster and some animal. By the way...ASU has been having a little problem with there QB's also but at least Erickson forced Sullivan to come up with an injury so he could start the better QB...So far in his career Brewster has shown me anything...

Time to replace Weber and give others an opportunity, they could not do any worse. We were out coached again as well.
