Seems like both teams lose an opportunity to reach a large national audience om Monday night. No competition from other major sports

Yes they do. UK fans tried and justify it as only weak teams that are wanna-be's would be ESPN's biotch, but the teams they put in the slot...Tennessee vs. UCLA. a couple of real wannabe's!

yea really sucks that we get to relax drink a few beers watch the entire game and not have to work the next day against not being able to drink and having to go to bed before the end just so we can satisfy ESPN.

That is the only remotely legit argument- as a fan it is better, but all that other crap about needing to get prepared of Norfolk St., "real football teams" don't play on weeknights, its better for team....thats all a bunch of crap.

I was at the first game at PJs stadium against UK, don't know how the players did it-fans were dropping like flys! 3:30 pm in August is going to be brutal, and all I'm going to be doing are 16 oz curls!
