Thank you Jim and Joe, you can now crawl back under your rock. And what's the matter Lisa, the ND players didn't give you the time of day?

just don't drive -- a police office saw that i lived out of town for an illegal turn...the lane arrow was so faded out you couldn't tell... but he knew i wasn't going to fight the ticket since flying back to el paso was out of the question...

What I don't understand is why there are so many fans of either team in El Paso. How many of these so called ND or U fans actually have any affiliation with either school?

Nothing like seeing a guy wearing a backwards ND cap with a fake gold chain, driving a $500 car with ugly ass rims and a crap ass stereo system. Something tells me he isn't an alumn.

It's just as bad as all the Yankee and Red Sox fans that have never even been east of Midland haha

Like I said I am part of the Hispanic ratio here in El Paso, and the marachis, sombreros, and folklorico dancers are not MY culture. Like the name indicates, "Made in the USA", my friend!

This is American style football, not soccer! If this were a bowl game for soccer then maybe it would be appropriate.

Then I prefer NOT to have "your culture" around me! There is no telling what it might really be.

The marachis, sombreros, and folklorico dancers were "Made in the USA". I checked their tags.

When you say 'American style'- are you saying North American, South American, or Central American style?

my only complaint about the sombrero is that they don't fill it up with nachos and melted cheddar. remember that episode from the simpsons were homer is munching at his nacho sombrero? why can't they do that here!?

Er, maybe because El Paso is 80% hispanic and a sombrero is a hispanic cultural symbol...
You're not very bright, are you?
I'm Hispanic, I have not, nor any of my parents , grandparents worn the big giant sombrero. I guess 'YOU' see them all the time when at the mall, Target, Walmart, etc.

Attention El Paso young ladies, the Notre Dame football players are looking to sexually abuse some of you. After you go to the police, the D.A. and the tradition that is N.D. will conveniently dismiss your claims and claim it never happened. (Google Lizzy Seeberg).... If interested please contact Coach Kelly.

That girl was a drug addict and had major issues. She was just wanting attention. As you know, she ended up OD'ing. If you can get prosecuted for touching a girls breast (as long if she is over 18), then every guy in the country would be in jail.

I am part of that hispanic ratio, and I do not think it is appropriate. That cultural symbol you speak of belongs to Mexico.
When does it become time to be in and/or from the United States?
What about using a cultural symbol of the United States?
It's always a "hispanic" that is the first to criticize. If El Paso wants to welcome other cities with some entertainment who cares if they use a Mexican symbol. Of course they know they are in the United States or should we be waiving a US flag.

Adulation by Catholics--particularly those who pray to the tune of their fight song--of the Notre Dame football team constitutes a silliness challenged only by their notion than a virgin can have a baby.
