Are we surprised athletes, even stupid ones, are given special rules? I support sports, but not at the expense of academics. This is why we will never be as smart or up-to-par with our Asian or European counterparts that actually value education as a society.

Well after all they ARE athletes right, the dumb jocks... why even bother with giving them degrees if they are going to play sports the rest of their lives, just start paying them all in college and let capitalism run rampant. Seriously though the NCAA=BS with their "rankings" and crazy rules.
