UTEP is 0-4 against the East teams in C-USA. Marshall is dangerous as always. I believe UTEP will win the C-USA tourney and get the auto-bid this year -- but only if they play to their potential as they did today. Waiting around for a bid to the dance based on all the other factors is probably not going to work out in their favor. Those two losses this week hurt. Great overall performance from UTEP and it was nice to see a balanced attack. Christian is fixing to break out, mark my words.

Isaac Gordon looked great - I don't understand why Floyd hasn't given him more playing time.

I watched the ESPN broadcast and the Miners really looked great. Too many empty seats though. I hope that is the Miner team that shows up for the tourney and plays to a full house.

Top Ranked? In what? Interesting article name...Memphis is MEDIOCRE at best in a weak conference. Not the same type of team as they have had in the past.

WHOOPING now what about the game they lost at EAST CAROLINA and specially when your coaches did a great show on the floor he was SO SO mad that they lost it why because miners can handle to lose wait and see your going down..........and were ready to see your players and coaches go crazy and put a other great shown..........

happy for the miners, but got to admit that memphis had an off night.. and yes, some of it was good defense to credit the miners but for the most part memphis was just committing silly mistakes and missing the easy shots. hopefully they can continue to play with this passion and maybe they won't blow out other teams but will likely win the tournament if they give it the same or bigger effort as tonight.

That was the best defensive performance in years. Memphis is a very athletic team. Will someone please tell Randy that when he is missing his freethrows it is mainly because he leans slightly back and they end up short. Why hasn't Gordon been playing more? I know Perez has some serious potential but Gordon showed today he (Gordon) deserves more PT. Gotta love Gabes intensity and Jons plays around the basket today. Total team effort and Great coaching. Floyd knows that Memphis is long and athletic and knew Jon was better suited to play them than Claude.

UCF just knocked off Southern Miss.

UAB 10-4
UTEP 9-5
USM 9-5
Memphis 9-5
Tulsa 8-5
Marshall 8-6
SMU 8-6
ECU 6-7
UCF 5-9
Rice 4-9
Houston 4-10
Tulane 2-11

If we win out and UAB loses to Southern Miss, then we will most likely have a 5 way tie for first place.
