If you're serious, I agree. I would love to watch every game, and would pay for it. I did not realize that SEC only allowed 3 games on PPV. I would really hate not to see Kentucky and Vandy! The televised games give me an opportunity to have a nice "undrunk" get-together with great friends. Unfortunately, I can't get to the games.

The University would be best suited then to develop its own network with cameras and its own control. Then they can dump it up to the VolNetwork and since that is now on WVLT it can be put on the second channel of there digital sub carrier. Huge local ratings. You could have the radio people on the TV and have the VolNetwork run the show for all the games that are NOT...picked up. That would give some incentive for advertisers on a local level. Cost would be minimal aside from some equipment.

Buy a ticket and quit whining. I had two to sell and there were many, many more available on the street. No-one seemed to want to buy yesterday but it sure is a big story when they want to sit in their favorite booth and whine about it. SHUT UP ALREADY!

Sounds lie all you need are a few investors and you could be a big boy one day.

this all boils down to being about money!now had the football program actually been anything but mediocre up to this point they would have had television coverage or at least pay-per-view!it will however be broadcast at 7:00 on channel 30(upn)for direct tv subscribers and for others(MyVLT2 can be found on Comcast channel 8, Charter channel 11, Communicomm channel 14, Knology channel 8, Haywood channel 6, Adelphia channel 73, Cumberland County channel 12, Morristown channel 9, Harlan County channel 3, Access channel 10, Evarts channel 41, Tri-Star channel 10, DirecTV channel 30, and Channel 8.2 on over the air digital TV).i hate watching the games a day later but,for us that "bleed orange" you take what you can get!i did listen to the audio broadcast and was fine with that considering the alternative of only seeing the score posted while watching other games!now like i said before had they been a bigger media draw like our basketball vols who by the way are televised in all but the exhibition games(nov.2 and nov.5) and the(feb.20)Auburn game, then they would have been televised.now keep in mind this is from the "tip off" booklet presented by Arby's.on the other hand the football program was still "searching" for media coverage with the season almost complete!so all in all media coverage and expectations depend on performance and how much money they both draw!nuff said!

Remember this too. UGA is number 10 in the nation. They played Troy, who almost beat UF in Gainesville. There was no television coverage. I was on campus and people had there radio's fired up listening to the Voice of the Bulldogs on AM radio. Now, of course Atlanta has the extremely powerful AM750. Georgia fans didn't seem to mind and people had a great time. All the bars downtown Athens were full and people were listening to the radio.

It's sad that people in Knoxville have no other interests other than UT football. And the majority of the people don't or didn't even go to UT. THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN UT FOOTBALL!!!

Thank you, thank you! I have always felt that way!

Sadly, I now live in Alabama and all I hear about is Bama and Auburn. Whenever I meet someone new that is the first thing they ask me--"Are you a Bama or an Auburn fan?" When I say, "Neither, because I don't give a crap", they look at me like I'm stupid. Oh, but it gets worse! When they find out I'm from Knoxville they automatically assume I'm a UT fan and when I say "Really, I don't care about college football, especially UT" I just get a stare like I'm the Anti-Christ.
