A little rooting for BC tonight!! But we can still win it on our own, by winning out.

That was a nail biter, thought it would be high scoring after the First half.

Now can the Ravens pull the upset?

Great win by the Terps today! This team plays so well at home. Let's hope it continues next week in what will be a huge game. Go Terps!

Solid football, guts and a little attitude adjustment served the Terps well this game. Both lines won this game,as far as I'm concerned.Chris Turner showed he's a top gun in the ACC.

The portis experiment should be over after today. Opposing teams know he will run 99% of the time(He fumbled one today) and he can not throw accurately(He miss a wide open receiver). Ralph needs to focus on more schemes to fool the opposing team. NC fullback throwing that pass was great.

root for the Noles!. If BC wins the Terps need to win out. It is all about taking care of your own business for the Terps

Why can UMD only beat ranked teams or teams that are supposed to be better than them ?

Whenever they are favored to win, they lose !

Tried to post this before--don't think it took...

Anyway, who is the ABC announcer who referred to the Tar Heels as the "good guys?"

It happened during a replay of one of Carolina's TDs. They were breaking down the play and as they went to commercial, the announcer said something to the effect of, "that was a great play by the good guys."

Don't quote me--it was something like that, but I did a double-take...even checked to see if it was a Carolina broadcast team and it was a game being telecast from their regional network, but, no, it was on ABC.

And it was a home game for the Terps! Kinda stupid, if you ask me.

Great ballgame, really exciting. Hard to believe that one game they play so bad and another they look like so good. Great defense today. Really played when they had to. Last drive was unbelievable. Good win for the coach.

NO! We want Florida State to win. If Florida State wins and we beat them next week, we go to Tampa no matter what happens against BC. If BC beats Florida State and wins out, they go to Tampa. If we lose to Florida St., we can't win the Atlantic no matter what happens after that. We have to beat Florida State to win the Atlantic, but if Florida State beats BC we do not have to win out to go to Tampa.

One of the reasons is because the players are out of control. Witness the game ending interception. McCollough started celebrating as soon as he caught the ball instead of running toward NC's goal line. He was not touched by a defender and he should have advanced the ball. The Terps lack discipline and a true winner's instinct. Even though they won, I hope that Coach ripped Mc Collough a new one!

Sorry but the game was over, and in college ball once the knee touches you are down, you can not advance from there. Do not have to be touched by anyone, so much for that representing a lack of discipline.
The spirit of the Terps was strong, and their will prevailed...let's be positive about a positive event.

pgp should stop watching college ball and stick to the pros. Anyone who knows the rules in college knows once a player is on the ground, the play is over without having to be touched by an opposing player. McCullough knew the play was over, as was the game, essentially. He was merely displaying joy and enthusiasm. Lighten up, pgp! The Terps are as disciplined as most college football teams.

By the way, IF Maryland can beat FSU next week and Wake can beat BC at Wake, UMD clinches the Atlantic title, even if they lose at BC

It doesn't matter what BC and FSU do! If the Terps win out then they're in, regardless. The Terps control their own destiny which is how it should be instead of hoping that this team beats that team so if the Terps lose then we must want that team to win or lose. Just win baby!
