go home boy or stop crying, maybe there are best player than you so get adjusted or just go to momma.

That's what happens when you don't go to UTEP.
He should have come to UTEP. He would be starting by now.

Read the stat column and maybe you will understand why he is not playing. By the way Cliff next time your in El Paso don't wear the Maryland jersey like you did at a recent local tournament, we already know you think your a basketball "God" by your actions in games here in high-school.

Typical black guy...always wanna play. There's no i in team tucker
But isn't he a local basketball "God" when you think about it? When is the last time a local player signed a basketball scholarship to a D1 school much less one from the ACC. El Paso's 6" and under club barely get offers from Sul Ross and Western New Mexico Tech State much less UTEP. I do agree that wearing the jersey is a bit much though. Everyone in the gym already knows who the kid is anyway just like Mr. NIT did right? He doesn't need to wear the jersey -- it's in bad taste but he's just a kid after all. |

Ramon Martinez from Montwood plays for UNM. Hell he should transfer to Texas Tech, they are in need of some REAL Basketball players. I think they are the only Division 1 (except BYU) team with more white players than black players. Obviously, that is an unintended consequence of Affrimative Action.
good one. |
At least you named one player that signed to a Division 1 but UNM is not Maryland. The Pit is a tough place but they haven't been good since, well the 80s? Maybe that kid Martinez should transfer to UTEP. Didn't they whip UNM this year? |

It's one thing to be a star in High School but it's a little different in college when all the players have as much or not more talent than you have.Stop your crying and improve your game or go home.

wah wah welcome to the real world...
he was over rated when he was here so whats new
Come on now the real reason no one from el paso goes anywhere cuz mexicans can't keep up with blacks or whites in basketball. He was the best high school basketball player in El Paso history

This is a turning point in his life. Many of us can look back 25-30 years and clearly see these same crossroads in our own lives. This is a message to him to either dig deep and get himself to that next level as a player, or to accept the fact that he has reached his full potential as an athlete, and then focus more on his education.
Cliff's basketball skills and his academics got him to this point. Now now finds himself at a difficult fork in the road. His education will outlive the basketball. Being benched is probably a blessing in disguise, he just doesn't know that yet. |

I can bounce a ball. I can throw a ball in a hole. Duhhhh

ok keep telling yourself that |

It is amazing to see how many El Pasoans on here putting down one of your own local success stories. I have had the pleasure of knowing this kid since he was in the 6th grade and to see some of the comments on here make me very upset. This city and most of its sports fans are very one sided. There are not many things to cheer about here when it comes to sports, so why not send positive comments and love toward any kid that makes it to college. I was one of his coaches, and I think I speak for all of us when I say that Cliff Tucker will make it. The negative people should get to know someone before they make a comment. As a matter of fact, maybe you guys should try to walk in his shoes. Good Luck to all the El Paso kids that are in college. Most of us are proud of you all for all of your accomplishments...on and off the playing field.

You just showed everyone you never went to college and probably struggled in high school. Themselfs. Really, are you in 6th grade? Yeah, you're rich -- rich with stupidity. |
God you're a dumbas s! Lesson #2: Are you here legally? The answer to your question that was poorly written as a statement without the question mark is 'yes' richly dumb guy. Stop it, you're embarrassing yourself immensely. This is great stuff. |
