I have seen it all. I was at Marquette when we won the NCAA Championship under big AL. I have 4 season tickets for over 20 years and seen the Wade final four team and I can tell you hands down, this year's team is the best team Marquette ever put in a uniform. Those 3 wild Indians as I called them their first 3 years, wanting to get out of my seat and strangle them for their school yard antics, have now matured into the finest team we have ever seen. The good Lord said ask and you shall receive, I now remind him of his promise, give them good site to hit their shots, quickness to the rim, courage from the tip off until the game is over, and to always remember that basketball is a team sport but each of them was selected to play at Marquette because they individuality posed a quality that they need to bring to each remaining game, Amen. We Are Marquette!!!

Great article. For all the talk of MU not playing the Big 3 in conference yet, it is fair to also note that this is only the 2nd Marquette team in history to beat FIVE ranked teams in one regular season. The first MU team to do it? This same bunch as sophomores in 2006-07. With 5 more games against currently ranked teams, just one more win will make it 6.
