Fred/Sam,

I would like for you to consider the Miller Grove Wolverines(Men) for "Team of the Week". This is a 3rd year varsity program which is closing in on it's second consecutive 20-win season and ranked #3 in AAAA. The amazing thing is that the Wolverines have played probably one of the most rigorous schedules in the state by playing the likes of Wesleyan, Tucker, Columbia, Stephenson, Wheeler, Stone Mountain, Redan, and not to mention winning 2 out of 3 in Bojangles National Tournament against some of the top national teams. For this program to be only in it's 3rd year, and the amount of success it has already experienced ("sweet sixteen" in 2006), it is worthy of such an honor. Presently, they are 19-4 and have star power in junior guard Mfon Udofia who leads Dekalb County in scoring and is in the opinion of many, the best point guard in the state as well as in the nation. Please consider! Thanks for the fine job you guys do as well covering high school basketball.

I agree w/you too Wolverine 1! MGHS has one of the best basketball teams in the state. Coach White has done a remarkable job developing the varsity basketball program at Miller Grove in a short amount of time. They have played not only some of the top basketball teams in the metro area, but across the nation as well. Now MGHS is rallying in the 6-AAAA State Playoffs currently contending in the "Elite Eight" this Sat. against Lithia Springs. Enough said!!!!!!!
