Outwardly, Purdue freshmen E'Twaun Moore and Scott Martin were showing no signs of pressure. Full Story

Great game--the freshmen are really beginning to come together but I was happy to see Calasan. He'll be a key.

It was a very physical game and both teams banged. Purdue played well. Our defense was excellent as usual, but the offense got going. Moore got into a rhythm and was very smooth. Martin has a nice stroke and so does Calasan. Calasan, Crump, Kramer & Grant give us strength and experience. We're ready to play in the ACC Challenge. Go Boilers!!!!

Maybe we should be Xavier. They just finished beating up on a less than average team so they might be a good cupcake for us. HA-HA-HA-HA

Hey Gene K Dee, you're a moron. You've made that joke on the last five purdue article forums. Go to the IU forum and join the discussion on their domination at the hands of a mid-major.

It's good to see the offense finally coming together. Their percentage has been terrible until this game.

hey loosier looks like its time to worry about your own weak schedule not purdue's i mean 15 point LOSS to an unranked xavier team is bad really bad.

when all you can do is come in here and mock Purdue WINS you are really on thin ice.

I think Purdue and IU fans are reading too much into wins, losses, schedule, etc., at this point. It doesn't really matter. How good or bad a team is now, who cares. IU lost to Xavier, whatever. IF Purdue loses/beats Clemson this week doesn't mean squat. Both Cellvin Sanctions and Matt Painter's teams will get better as the season progresses, you can book that. Let's reserve judgment on IU and Purdue until we get halfway into the Big Ten season...

This was a solid victory going into the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Hopefully the momentum will continue so Purdue can do its part to help the Big Ten defeat the vaunted ACC.

In other notes, Calasan demonstrated that he is not afraid to shoot the rock. It was effective yesterday, I hope that is the case throughout the year. The Freshman continue to impress. E'Twan shot with confidence behind the arc and I like Scott Martin in the starting line-up. The best thing about this group is they can only get better.

The Boilers would lose by 30 or more to Xavier. Let's hope PU does their part in the Big Ten/ACC challenge; but I really thing they will lose like they usually do.

I think it is funny all the IU fans I always see on here. Go enjoy your team while you can. No Gordon or White next year while all our guys will be back. I guess I can see why you would worry...oh by the way, Purdue has the tougher overall schedule this year Loosiers

How can you say Purdue will lose like usual when they were one of the 3 Big Ten teams to win last year?(the other two were Wisconsin and Northwestern).

You guys take care of Georgia Tech we will take care of Clemson. When it is all said and done hopefully both teams win to help the conference overall.

It would be nice for the Big Ten to win the challenge for once. (This is one of the rare occasions that I will be for IU)

Poetic justice isn't it, after all this smack talk from hoosier fan's. Their so called super team lose's to an unranked mid-major. And quite frankly hasn't looked very impressive in a couple other games.

This is to all IU fan's, we both have young team's this year and there will be up's and down's. It's unfortunate hearing this, but it's the cold hard truth. Good luck to you in the big ten challenge. Purdue's future glow's much much brighter!!!!!!
