This kid is big. However, he is physically weak. A 269 lb bench and 375 lb squat? The defensive linemen will be stronger, faster and almost as big. He better hit the weight room today and not stop throughout college if he wants to step on the game day field. Good luck.

I year of redshirt an a whole summer in the weight room plus frequent trips to Dennys will solve all this.He will be a fine addition to the Cardinal football team.

This kid is flab. No offer from lowly IU. Good one to send down to Kaintuck.

He may have not gone to IU but at least he chose Louisville instead of the Tippecanoe County Jail they call Purdue.

Coaches and recruiters look at size and speed(and heart). Everything else can be taught. A redshirt season in the weight room will put him right in there with the rest.

Ditto on that,as long as a player has heart the rest can be taught. This kid could be a piece of coal waiting to be turned into a diamond,or a diamond in the rough whichever you prefer.

You never know what can happen- look what "the ville" has done with so many kids that were not heavily recruited in Florida and Georgia (they make up half the team) and they finished #6. Some speed training, protein shakes, endless hours in the weight room- who knows? Being a top rated kid doesn't necessarily mean anything. Remember Randy Estes? Who? Oh yeah, he was the guy who was the second coming of Ronnie Lott and Antrelle Rolle with a little bit of Ed Reed rolled into one. He sure panned out!!! If you look back at the guys "in the Know" and the top recruiting services from five years ago- only 39-45 of the Top 100 HS kids in the country (depending on whose list you use)played in the NFL.
Good Luck Kid!! Chase your dreams, you never know what can happen!
