FSU adjusts its football schedule in light of probe

State has begun recent football seasons against the likes of Miami and Clemson, but because of an academic fraud scandal that will leave Coach Bobby Bowden 's team short-handed, the Seminoles will open their ... Full Story

I'm not just a UF fan, I'm a UF grad who started there during the Galen Hall era, when Bobby was still licking his wounds from losing 6 straight to UF.
Do you have anything else to offer, or is 'nannie nannie boo boo' your next response?

Come on Noles lets all get along!!
I'm more of a realist. Not big on religion either. I really try to defend FSU as a whole, not just as a football team. Some comments made really got to me...the one about why Jimbo kicks so many field goals makes no sense. and the its ok to cheat and the we play the toughest schedule just kill me. Spelling elegebel also hit a nerve. You are right, I shouldn't be picking on fellow noles, i just remember when someone was posting on his name aa few months ago. Obviously he will never admit it....funny how he tried to call me a gator...my posts are the complete opposite of what a gator would write, so that was also a red flag. I'm over it, but still not convinced.

Are you actually bragging about being a protege of Galen Hall? I apologize, I am mistaken. You apparently do know quite a lot about NCAA violations now don't you. Dude, I have seen gators call you out for being an idiot. And once again, I just did too.
I didnt realize that attending a university at the time a football coach makes me a 'protege'. That's pretty cool. So by those terms, because I'm a grad, I guess means I must also get to hang out at Urban Meyer's house when I feel like? Once again, do you have anything intelligent to say? Or just more nonsensical, illogical babblings?

Just for fun, the only Gators who have 'called me out' were those warning me not to bother replying to your posts. I guess I see why I was so warned - your posts are the pinnacle of nonsense.

Glad you didn't disappoint. Do you do also perform at bar mitzvahs and birthdays? Or do you just show up on these forums and post irrelevant blather?

I thought you said you played for Galen. Now you say you attended at the same time he was there. So which one is it?

I only go to Gator forums and post derogatory things about UF. I have almost 1300 of such posts in about 2-1/2 months. I am what you call a LOSER.

It looks like we have another fake Nole here. NO Self-respecting Nole would refer to Galen Hall as anything but #4.

RLNOLE, you got it right. I'm sick and tired of getting ripped here and on WC because I love the Noles and am proud of us no matter what. otown and FSU non Fan and other fake Noles like them just want to destroy all the greatness that Bobby built by running him off. As soon as Bobby is gone, they'll start running off Jimbo, just like they did Jeff.

If 7-6 is the best we can do, and it appears that way, then I'm happy with it cause I love everything Nole, unlike these other loosers.

Nevermind. Seeing that reading comprehension isn't one of your strong points, I won't bother.

I have a surprise for you 'Noles... I agree that Florida also plays basically the same patsy schedule game.

And I'm a Gator fan.

Teams expecting to be in the top 10 ratings should play legitimate competition every week... and that goes for BOTH the 'Noles and Gators who have BOTH been guilty of patsy padded schedules for years.

To say otherwise is the pot calling the kettle black.

<<I'm not just a UF fan, I'm a UF grad who started there during the Galen Hall era,>>

I am sure it makes sense to you but it sure does sound like you were saying you started (football) in the Galen Hall era. I mean really, you bash FSU and you are bringing up Galen Hall? Galen Hall? Really?

Maybe "enrolled" would have been a better choice of words there. Perhaps "started classes" or "started college". Again, gator arrogance at its best. Of course you possibly could not have possibly typed an unclear sentence. And the old "I am way too smart for you to understand" is not even as good as my "your momma" jokes.

woohoo!! hahaha its true about being in the top 10, but every team across the country does it...i really disagree with any FBS major program playing 1-AA team. unless you are troy or fau/fiu...those teams can play them, but forany of the big state schools to play a 1-AA team is ridiculous. its like the MLB guys playing a double or triple A team and it counting as a win...

Read an interesting story in the Trib about FSU going to some very impressive 3-D recruiting video and basically developing a strong cutting edge marketing strategy on recruiting football players.

This is 2008 and stuff like that will work for them.

Our Gator recruiters need to put some catsup on the product quickly, before we watch the top recruits flying over as we sit in an empty bus station.

Go Gators!
