Way to make this game way harder than it should have been! The team stuck to their plan for the whole game: stand around for 30 seconds while the other team sits in a 2-3 zone.

Thanks Coach Riley Wallace for the expert insight. I hope Vegas is treating you well.

Arnis and Campbell played, exceptionally, really well in the first 3/4's of the game! The whole team played pretty good overall. 90 to 100% accurate, excellent!

I guess they did really work hard in the off-season. My bad, I initially thought otherwise.

It would help if Nitoto took more shots when he is open when the opposing team is playing zone. This would force the defenders to guard against him instead of concentrating on the other four Hawaii players only. He has been wide open in many games and Hawaii has lost the ball many times trying to get the ball in to Post players when the defenders are playing zone.

They were extremely lucky to win this one, but that's just the point. This is a game that they would've lost by 8-10 points last year. This year, they're pulling out some of the games that they normally wouldn't. I don't know why they were out-rebounded in this game, but perhaps we've got to give some props to the other team for blocking out Amis & Flemings. The other team showed grit & aside from missing two one-and-ones, played well enough to win. Next week it'll be tough to beat them on their own court, so pulling this off was big.

Fashion is right the game was all stand around. The offense needs to get more movement, more shots off, and more aggressive on the boards. Too many times they're just standing (flatfooted) when they should all be moving to the boards, boxing out the opponent, and penetrating the key. Coach Nash should know better he was a banger in his days, they should've let Bolachka do more banging in the key maybe then the 2-3 zone would've broken down some. Loosing a 15 point lead will not win the WAC. Game plan is simple (stay on your opponent, and finish).
