Indeed a victory for the Wolfpack will make them bowl eligible. BUT a victory will likely spell an end to their bowl chances. Hawaii would take the Hawaii bowl, Boise the Humanitarian, and most likely Fresno would take the New Mexico Bowl. Not to mention the fact a Nevada victory would mean the WAC would potentially lose the millions in BCS money and the guaranteed money they'd make in a bowl game.

Honestly Nevada has had a hard time finishing games. New Mexico State & Utah St should have beat them. So hopefully the Warriors leave no doubt, but there better not be any phantom Gerard Lewis pass interference penalties on Friday.

The conventional wisdom is that, yes,'specially with them leaving tomorrow with their main QB "iffy," the Warriors seem to be standing on a crutch (and, don't look now, but, that conventional wisdom might very well turn out to be an oasis).

At the same time? With the Warriors jacked up with all these wins, AND everyone counting them out only because Brennan's seemingly out (which we really don't know yet)?

Would you REALLY wanna be the Wolfpack right now?

Above all?

Let the game be played!

The only way you can count out the Warriors is if they forfeit the game.

C'mon now.

Idaho is coming off a bye week, and should be well rested heading into Saturday's matchup. Akey said although beating a rival is extra special, when it comes down to the basics, his team just needs to pick up win number two.

"It doesn't matter who we're playing," said Akey. "A win on Saturday is going to do a lot for this football team and our Vandal fans, our program. Everybody."

DON'T LOOK AHEAD TO THE WARRIOR GAME. YOU BETTER LOOK IN YOUR BACKYARD FIRST. IDAHO WILL HURT YOU GUYS SO BAD...

WE'LL FINISH YOU OFF THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING DAY!!!
