Before the ball is even tossed into the air, there's a considerable amount of griping going on about the Lehigh Valley Conference basketball tournament. Read more

Just because the setting was determined years ago does not mean it can be changed if that team is in the tourney. Same goes for other sports. This is an unfair advantage that needs to be addressed.

With as many gyms as are available it would seem to be a "no brainer" to set the play-off sites as soon as the play-off teams are determined. No team should have the advantage of playing in their own gym when it comes to league play-offs. Exceptions to this rule should only be considered when teams are competing in the first round of district or PIAA play-offs.

It's amazing how the complaining starts when the finals are held at Central. No one complains when both Parkland teams were in the tournamnet when it was held there. Why now at Central. Get over your biases and enjoy the games

For all the talk the Central people always have, they need to fix their dim lit old fashioned gym. It is an unfair advantage to play in the dungeon that your teams have learned to practice in. I would be embarassed of that place you call a gym!!!

There's an awful lot of crying going on in here. If the athletic directors and coaches can accept it, then the fans should shut their pieholes.

My thoughts are this issue are with the majority. Why in the world would you pick a gym for playoffs if you don't know what teams are INVOLVED! Scheduling of the gyms for 2 nights of playoffs cannot be that diffucult. No team should have home court advatage. You can't tell me that anyone of a school that have bigger capacity gyms would not comply to a playoff games. Even if this was decided early in the season someone on that committee should have voiced their opinion and not let any playoff games be held at ACC.
They all know that site is "outdated" and should NEVER have been considered! Too late for this year and of course with all this griping they've decided it would be different next year-that does not help the players and fans of this year! SHAME OF YOU!

Maybe if Central recieved the millions of dollars in tax payer moneis the public schools do they could remodel their gym and it wouldn't be "outdated". I wonder if people call other sites in basketball with such rich history outdated. i.e. The Palestra, Cameron Indoor, Boston Garden, etc. This year it's their turn soon it will be yours. Rockne is no worse than memorial gym at Liberty which is used for so many district and league championship events such as wrestling and voleyball as well as basketball.

Here is an idea: Have the playoffs at Freedom. You won't ever have to worry about them reaching the playoffs and they have a state of the art gymnasium.

Nobody wants to go anywhere near Central at night. Or during the day.
