As a graduate from LaSalle I'll be disappointed if T.T. decides to leave. But he has to do what he feels is right for him. And it's hard to play on a team where you don't have that team feel from within, even when you are warming the bench. I'm sure Coach Swope and T.T.'s family will offer him the guidance he needs.

Good luck to you T.T. on whichever course you decide to pursue!

Coach Swope is the one who led TT to LaSalle!

?ing.....

And at the time it seemed like a good move for him. Now he's a year older and wiser with more input and fuel to propel his future goals.

I hope the reason for him deciding to transfer is that the team IS in such bad shape. I hope that it is not because he is sitting on the bench (Freshman, who would think....) or that he is not being treated as greater than life like in CB. That is a problem in small towns like CB where people go off and find out that they are not THE one and find out that they are one in a million...

To break the dual constraints of conventional wisdom and human nature at that level, he'd have to pull a trout out of a school of cat fish!

Quickly became a little fish. He could be pissing a free education away. He has already been granted his release from scholarship, which means he is responsible for his tuition. If he transfers to another D1 school he has to sit a year, which would make him a junior (eligibility wise) by the time he can play. If he goes D2 he no longer has a full scholarship because D2 does not offer full only partial. If he drops down to D3 no money at all.

I heard from a very reliable person that Swope had already talked to Carey before he asked for his release and was given some advice that was a violation in recruitment and contact under NCAA regulations, so maybe he's not the best one to talk to.
