for all this talk of waiting til 2010 class, why not try to control our own destiny and say... its obvious that shawn marion is open to a trade where he can re-up on a 4-5yr deal. Why not try to trade him now to a team that is probably going to lose its 2010 opt-ed out player. lilke chris boch or another targeted player from that class. again, looks to be a win/win.
