It has taken two years to install this new offense. I thought it would be a train wreck for us. It is.

Now we are back to square one and must install a new offense. An offense where the offensive linemen will actually be trying to go forward. Good idea. 15 practices will not undo the past two years. There is a lot of work to do and for right now we can only look for progress towards where we were on O two years ago.

Not my plan, but better than staying where we are now.

It looks like the bowl schedule will be good this year, unlike last year and the previous year...although the BCS games are once again soured by not having a tournament.

GOOD LUCK UMD IN THE NCAA DIV II CHAMPIONSHIP!!

New Offense in December?

This is coaching malpractice. If Brewster has to install a new offense in December it proves he has little to show for his work from January of 2008; let's see, that makes it 11 months of collecting a pay check with no work done. Will he pay it back?

They should cancel this bowl game. Kansas is a bad team and the Goophers are even worse. Goophs are so bad they got blown out at home by our arch-rival Iowa. It was the biggest quit job ever turned in by any Goopher team ever. Any team that quits and then loses 55-0 should just stay home.

That is an outrageous thing to say and permanently discredits you as an objective observer. The players did not quit. I saw the offense once again totally fail to the point the defense lost it's quickness. I saw the coaching concept of Coach Dunbar lay a total egg. I saw Coach Brewster get frustrated with the O that HE hired and, as usual, praised too much.

I did not see any lack of spirit by the players while the game outcome was in any state of doubt.

Kansas a bad team? How so?

They just upset the then #12 team in the county two weeks ago. Sure, they lost a few games they shouldn't of, but they won when they needed to most.

Kansas will win this game by 40+

Loon, you idiot, I was at the game, and the Goophs quit before the 2nd half started, against our arch-rival Iowa. THEY QUIT!!

I have read about the 55-0 blow out,but being a season ticket holder at the KU-TEXAS TECH game,i understand your opinion.Ku was destroyed at home by TT.A game in which some thought KU would win,,including me.But it seemed one of those games where everything is clicking for the opposing team.I must say though it was in the 4th quarter where the lead was so large that the players were not into it.

And that is understandable..Coach Mangino's teams are known for playing hard throughout a game ,but this one was just out of control from the get go.
