Depending on upsets in the conference tournaments, the highest I could see them being seeded is a 14. Most likely a 15 seed though. No matter what happens, itís likely one and done.
Itís too bad IUPUI doesnít do more for their program or schedule anybody of note (one UMass win is not a schedule).
I'd say the same 14 or 15th seed. But they had a decent schedule for their level. St Louis, UMass, Marquette, and Western Michigan are decent(WMU is 1st in their division of the MAC), Portland State is leading their conference. It's not a murderous schedule that a lot of low D1 programs play to fund their athletic programs, but it's ok. One problem is their conference brings their RPI down, and their good. So that's not a good combination for big schools(good team + low RPI). A potential loss for a Butler, SIU or a Dayton ect would hurt more than a win against someone like an ORU or IUPUI. Once they get up to a Butler or Gonzaga level nationally where RPI wouldn't matter as much as their reputation in the eyes of the media and coaches and selection members then scheduling bigger schools won't be as much of a problem. right now there's a major downside(potential loss) and no upside to schedule IUPUI. which is a big delima they must deal with. but good luck hope they get the job done and get to dance.

So your are saying IUPUI would be better then a Big East # 5 or ACC # 5? Dont think so. You have to take into account who those 26 wins are against. You cant penalize a 20 win big east team when they have played a brutal schedule.
Uhh... I didn't say anything about a 20 win team. Please re-read my original post.

IUPUI needs to up it's non-conference schedule in the future and play a few more quality teams. Overall they are a very good team in a sub par conference.
They have the same amount of National titles as Purdue. Neat fact.

The Jags beat Mo. Kansas City by 4 in the first round.

Go Jags.

Coach Hunter, don't go near IU. You are too good a guy to get chewed up and spit out by what what stinks in Bloomington.

Thanks for the fact...wonder how much time and research it took you to figure that out. You must be the "IU" of "IUPUI".

Whatever desert dork. Wallow in your average, no title program. Sounds like a Boiler comment.

ESPN has the summit league champion as a 13 seed right now ( http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology ). IUPUI actually is ranked #75 in RPI rankings, whereas the Big Ten's #6 Minnesota has a losing conference record and is ranked #98 ( http://www.kenpom.com/rpi.php ).
Something else of interest, IUPUI has more wins against top 50 opponents then Butler! It is to bad the Dawgs won't give the Jags a chance to beat them!

Same amount of titles as Purdue? Don't be stupid! So does about 300 other D1 schools. IUPUI has been trying to schedule tougher competition but no one wants to play them.
