This kid is impressive. It's sad to hear about all of the negative things in IPS, and there are probably dozens of kids like Stone that will make an impact in this world.

It sounds like this kid is focused and driven. Good luck to the Hornets.

For all those idiots that keep talkin about the size of the gym. Cleveland, Seatle, Detroit, and Utah all had a scout at the IUPUI-WESTERN MICHIGAN game to see George Hill. Its not the size of the gym , its the heart of the player. If you can play, people(scouts) will see you. The best players don't always play in the biggest gyms or schools.

At least he is staying close. The Hornet fans can keep watching him.

Many don't realize that he is even more important to Howe than this article and Larry lets on. He is the firt "prime time" player since the school re-opened. Since, moving to varsity play he has carried the team. Even with some good prospects coming in, Larry will be sorely missed next season.

Lary chose IUPUI because of the academics. He is just able to let basketball take him there free of charge and continue in a game he loves. As he said, letting basketball take him as far as it can. Besides IUPUI has made the NCAA tournament and usually contends for its conference titles. It also plays a descent schedule for being a newer small conference school.

Sorry for the typo's.

Last night he almost single handed picked up the Hornets and pulled and upset of Lawrence North (scoring 23 I believe in the last three minutes of the game).

very impressive, does he shoot many threes or does he just attack the basket a lot?

He does shoot 3's but the majority of his scoring is on drives inside the arc drawing fouls and getting pts at the line.
