We'll see just how good he is in college, but a team wins championships. I just hope he's not another Bracey Wright. I couldn't take much more of that type of player.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that EG stays for at least one more year after his first year at IU. The new recruit sounds like he will be a great addition to the team. I'm really excited about the upcoming season and future seasons. This is great!!!!!!!!!! Thank you EG for helping recruit this outstanding player. With Edbanks coming from Queens I will bet that he has played BB for most of his life. Congrats to the team, coach and the staff!!!!
What a way to end my 24 hour nursing on call that ends in a couple of hours. What a horrible and stessful day. This news makes my day.

The difference being Samson will coach this player. Davis didn't with Wright.

I really like the job we are doing recruting. Davis did a decent job but couldn't coach the players to well. Now we're getting the players and if Gordon stays there's a real chance for a title run. Not only the big ten title but national champions!!!

Mayhew, I think we make a run this year with EJ and DJ leading the way......

As far as his D goes, that is one of the reasons he picked IU because of KS and his D abilities......

This kid is special, will be a great FACE of HN for atleast 2 years I hope..........

Another top recruit chooses IU. No surprise and within a few hours this place will be full of jealous fans from the north west saying rude things out of their green eyes. Same old thing. Wow IU is going to be incredible.

IF and its a BIG IF, is if EJ stays 2 years IU could be a carbon copy of Florida. Forget Big ten Banners and 1 championship. There could be multiple NCAA banners in Assemly Hall a la UNC and Florida. They could win 2-3 in a short period of time 5-6 years if players stay more than a year or two. Another thing i haven't heard much about, is the fact that he is a SCORING forward that wants to play tough D. The lack of dominate forwards and centers in IU the past 15 years has limited their odds of winning it all. THIS IS MAJOR NEWS!!!

This is great and it was because of the "fans and tradition" that he picked IU. THat should certainly make everyone proud.

Living outside Indiana, its really clear IU is the class program from this state. I doubt most people around the country even know where Butler or Purdue are. NOt many would care either.

i got to see him play at the may classic, he had a little bit of an attitude problem when things were not going good for his team, he needs to refine his team skills a little bit and he will be great, KS will whip it into shape

Steve, they may not know where Butler is located, but they've heard our name more in the last five years than they have IU.
