FahKara??? Are you kidding me? Why do parents name their girls such bizarre names? Is this one of those combo names?

Number one: that's not FahKara in the picture--it's Natasha. Number two: FahKara was named by her grandmother. It means "excellence."

I guess if you can't win a ball game, you make fun of the other team's star player? Is that what a Loosier does? Just asking. Thank you.

Keep up the good work on the road to the B10 championship. You've overcome so much this year that it's really great to see you all doing well.

Not a Purdue fan here... More of a anti-IU fan.

Way to go Boilers!!!

Outside of family members, there is zero interest in women's basketball. That's why there are very few posts here.

Cru Jones -- if you're correct, then there are some LARGE families out there. 7300+ watched the game in person.

Leave the megative comments off the board.

You are ignorant sir...You must be one of the backwoods red neck hicks that think everyone should have Bob after their name so they can be the same. Why do you negatize the differences in people? Don't you know that we are all different? Open your eyes and see the beauty in our differences instead of critizing others because they are not the same as you. As far as I am concernce being like you would be an insult.

What a complete moron - must be another Hoosier fan.

Purdue averages over 9,400 people for each of our women's home games, and this has actually been somewhat of a down year for the Lady Boilers.

9,400 - isn't that about how many people who usually show up for IU football games for the past 10 years?

When you visit IU's rivals web site "Peegs" they do not even have a link to their womens' basketball program.

When you go to Purdue's rivals web site and most other similar sites, they have direct links to their women's site
http://purdue.rivals.com/
What does that tell you about IU and the degree to which they (do not) place any value on women's basketball or women's sports?
So much for title 9 down in Billyville.

Really! Just because IU students/fans are unaware that they have a women's basketball team doesn't mean the rest of the world has to follow suit. True basketball fans love women's hoops because it is played the way the game is supposed to be played, without all the above the hoop grandstanding and the showboating that you see in the pros and now in the men's game. Women's basketball (and high school basketball, too) is much more fun to watch than the men's game. Congratulations to the Boilers on the victory, and keep it up! You have already achieved much more this season than anybody expected you could, after all the disasters.(And boy oh boy are we going to be good next year!):)

The photo doesn't show Malone, but rather the Purdue forward (Bogdanovich?), so the caption is wrong.

Did you know

Cru is Polish for "molester of small children".

Jones is "when farm animals are too fast".
