"The Hoosiers (5-9, 0-2 Big Ten) will visit Illinois (13-2, 1-1) on Saturday fresh in the knowledge that they gave Michigan a better game than the Illini did last weekend, though the Hoosiers were at home and the Illini on the road."

We will see what kind of game Indiana gives Illinois on saturday. Two very different games were played by Michigan against Illinois and Indiana. Against Illinois their backs were up against the wall knowing that if they lost two consecutive home games it would surely cost them any chance of a big ten run. Against IU, like every other team that has played against them, Michigan counted on an easy win. Crean is in a no lose situation. Everyone expects them to lose, so if they even come close to a win he is a coaching genius. Crean even acts the part by pacing up and down the sidelines. Man, he is one hell of a coach.

Tom Crean left Marquette with little dignity and respect, but another $2 million in the bank. What a digusting role model for student-athletes. His message: loyalty is measured in DOLLARS! He will leave Indiana as soon as someone else opens their wallet.

BTW: He sucks as a coach. His only NCAA wins were in 2003 with D-Wade, and 2 other NBA players. Other than that, he is an OFFER

Ah yes, let's see. Leaving a comfortable situation (where he had probably gone as far as he could) for a new challenge of rebuilding a once-dominant, now-embarrassed program. Preaching hustle, pride, effort, commitment to academics, strong work ethic and seizing your opportunities. Wow, what a terrible role model. And I don't know how you can say he is a terrible coach when he made MU relevant for the first time since Al McGuire in the 70s and averaged 20 wins a season. The man must have been doing something right. You still have to be a good coach to win in the NCAA tournament even if you have future NBA players. Kelvin Sampson proved that last year.

Poor, poor Tommy. "friends who stick with me and some I don't hear from". What a joke. Where was his loyalty to Marquette and his players when he left Marquette without the curtesy of a phone call prior to saying yes to Indiana. Marquette tried to provide this clown with everything he needed to succeed, including feeding his ego, renegotiating his contract seemingly annually and even hiring his father-in-law as assistant AD. I hope blowing a big lead to Michigan makes it hurt that much more

Tom, is that you?

Ex-Warriors like Jim McIlvaine, Damon Key, Ron Curry would probably like to have a word with you.

I hope the Illini destroy Crean's Hoosiers. There is still payback needed for the Eric Gordon mess. As an Illinois alum I have a special hatred for all things Indiana.

My son attends Marquette and he has told me that Crean is the most despised individual on the campus for the way he abruptly left for Indiana. I've got Bill Self and Bruce Pearl to hate. My son has Tom Crean.

Excuse me, brain surgeons and rocket scientists, but what coach would not leave a mid-major for the oppurtunity to coach Indiana, despite the recent troubles and dearth of talent. Its called career advancement.

If you have never coached, you have no clue. After 32 years of coaching high school and college basketball, I would commend Crean for the desire to continue to challenge himself. Players are so fickle these days, its a year-to-year job anyway and many of them will stick you for a better deal, so he took the $ for the future of his family. It's a business boys!
