I hope the Colts are paying attention to Hardy at the combine. Marvin Harrison might be at the end of the road... If Hardy falls all the way to the Colts' draft position, they'd be wise to grab this guy, and get a little bit of "Hoosier flavor" to the team at the same time.
Lets go Hoosiers

Yeah...just what the Colts need, some off the field issues. But I think this kid played basketball at one time, I'm sure we could find a roster spot on for him on the Pacers...now thats a better fit!

Um, Dustin Keller (TE from Purdue) just wowed everyone in the combine at his spot posting the best numbers in just about every drill and was on ESPN's front page as a breakout at the combine looking like the top TE prospect.

Hey Star, there are other schools in this state you know.

Out of 54 WR's:
9th in bench
9th in broad jump
7th in 3 cone
8th in 20yd shuttle
4.47 - 40yd
1st in Height!!

Teams have seen what Plax, Moss, TO, and the other athletic 6'4"+ guys can do close to the endzone. Hardy also was All State basketball...he has solid hands and knows how to use his body to get position (unlike Moss who just pushes off).

If too many teams pass on him, they will be kicking themselves.

FYI folks, Colts don't have a 1st round pick (traded it for Ugo last year). Won't draft until late 2nd...about 60th. Hardy won't fall that far!

Good luck James!!

I don't know Mayock's credentials, but James Hardy is a First Round pick if there ever was one. His name will be known long after Mayock is selling insurance somewhere.

Hardy's game will remind NFL fans of Harold Carmichel, Al Toon and Burress. He's tall, tough, has great hands and good speed. Enough said.

All due respect, but the Colts already have a tight end. Guy named Dallas something.

His off field incidents might drop him or his "test" scores or his attitude. There are a lot of things we aren't privy too from the combine.

Hardy's "Off Field" Issues are two years old. Hep helped him out a lot and Hardy is a good kid that made some mistakes in life. He's growing, he has a child, and knows what it will take to make it in the NFL. I'd love to see Peyton throwing to him every Sunday

"Bassett and Crawford both received three-game suspensions earlier this season after failing drug tests". Has anyone herd of this? This is a quote taken from an online article written by Jeff Goodman of Fox sports.

"I have nothing to hide. I've never had nothing to hide,'' he said. "The truth will come out regardless.

I've never had nothing to hide? A freudian slip perhaps? I guess that means he's always had something to hide?

If James lasts until the middle of the second round someone is going to get a serious bargain. In the right offense he could be a productive wide out for a long time in the NFL.

I wish the best for him - I hope he does not turn into another Rashaun Woods. In college, no one could stop him from making the catch - fantastic hands. Great talent, top athlete. Bust.
Lets hope he follows the Al Toon road...

What other school? They only write about winners or schools that have a winners attitude,as in natonal championships, Purdon,t has neither
