Let me get this straight - Dakich suspends Ellis and then talks about how good he is and what he means to the team after they lose. Wow - that should send the right message!

It was obvious from all the 32 foot three-point attempts that Bassett, Crawford and Gordon were throwing up that IU's offense is completely undisciplined.

Late in regulation, when they had several opportunities to protect the ball and run a set play (maybe even let the B10 MVP touch it?) they just fired away at will from way outside the arc - with no body underneath. Where was the Head Coach? Were there ever any set plays called?

Dakich has no control over this team. There's alot more going wrong internally with this group than Ellis.

The season will be over soon. One game in the conference tourney and one game in the NCAA tourney. This team is a real disappointment!

I understand that Gordon thinks this team will be fine, but that is what every player says to the media. In my opinion the way this team is acting and playing, they are just as much of a disgrace to Indiana basketball as Kelvin Sampson's phone calls and violations.

I am sick and tired of seeing every player complain and whine to the referee's after every play when a basket is not made. Suck it up and play boys. I am also tired of seeing players be suspended for disciplinary reasons. This is Ellis's second time being suspended and that is uncalled for.

This team needs to come together and start playing hard and as a team or they will be one and done in both tournaments. Stop playing with the "whatever happens" attitude and start playing to win.

That loss could not have happened to a better team.

Too late. There is no team. White thinks he can put the ball on the floor like a guard, and the guards think 30 footers are team ball. At this stage of the season, they're uncoachable. Dakich should sit anyone who takes a 30 footer, but they don't care, they would take them in defiance. Would they play for McCallum? Only if he let them continue to play alley ball. Dakich would do better to draft an intra-mural team for the tournements, at least there would be a team. I feel so sorry for Dakich, he doesn't deserve this.

I bet that Gordon's 6-24 performance really impressed Pat Riley yesterday. Gordon is lazy and overrated.

LOL what a complete waste of space this article is. Yes IOU shot poorly. So did PSU. IOU just got outplayed by a team of freshman so Gordon better be worried. Oh wait what does he care he's gone soon anyway.

Shots have to start falling or the Hoosiers are done. Hope things change on a neutral court.

If the NBA wants him then here's hoping they take him, and the sooner (no KS pun intended) the better. The "Flash" part of Flash Gordon was early on in the season when KS scheduled all those cup cake teams that Flash could score 30 points against. His bread and butter is at the FT line as his shooting is just too streaky. Scoring 20+ ppg is great as long as the scorer does not cause the rest of the offense to go haywire - E.J. disrupts the offense. We've all seen his type before, its called a GUN, BALLHOG, HOT DOG, etc.

I think these comments are so unfair. Maybe our season is over but I believe in these kids. They are young players who have not been able to pull it together but I believe they care for each other. Indiana basketball has meant so much to me over the years. I have celebrated and I have cried, but I love IU. Keep on caring and please do your best in the tournament.

This team is taking the dive at the time of year when a team needs to be peaking. They may make it to the second round in the NCAA but that is it and then we sit back and wait for horrible fallout from the Sampson experiment that blew up. Maybe a decent team again in 2013. I may be dead by then.

What does Gordon know?!? He can't even figure out that when he isn't hitting his shots that he needs to get his teammates involved. He does whatever he wants on the court and has actually regressed since he started playing at IU.

I feel sorry for whatever team drafts him in the NBA, because he sure won't be going to the free throw line all the time in the NBA. The refs won't be giving him the star treatment like they are in the Big Ten. For that matter, he's in for a rude awakening in the NCAA tourney.

Wow, I couldn't have planned the downfall of IU any better than this. The past couple of months have been spectacular!!!!!!!!!!

don't forget he's a huge crybaby also when things don't go his way. He's not mentally ready to handle the NBA, let alone the fact that he has not developed enough to contribute. I see a JJ Reddick sort of NBA career for him

What can I say? EJ couldn't hit the shots. That boy just isn't ready for the NBA yet, and the rest of the boys on the team need to step up and start taking a little more control. The whole team needs to grow up, but with impending penalties I'm sure they are going they have other things on their minds.
