Congrats to the UCONN women for the awesome streak of 88 wins. The coach is upset that more sports fans don't care about this record and he may have a point. Should this team be compared to the UCLA teams that won 88 straight back in the 70's? I don't think so. Men's and Women's basketball are different animals. The North Carolina Women's Soccer team won 92 games in a row in the 90's. It would make more sense to compare those two Women's NCAA records than to compare UCONN to UCLA.
