Depsite the fact Bart Peterson and his cronies have caused Indianapolis to become South Detroit, the near northsiders will continue to put Peterson, Gray and the other incompetent and corrupt officials back in office. The Northsiders have control of their fates; but will likely keep the status quo. As such, the status quo will continue and the Northsiders will live in fear.

Boo Yaw, my income taxes were just raised again to supposedly slow down crime. Bart got his tax increase through and crime is increasing. We are just not throwing enough money at this crime problem.
I know how you feel. It is frustrating that we have to go through this BS for the stadium. What makes me feel better is knowing that Bart has a bigger stake in Marion County that almost anyone. You would hope that someone with such a large stake wants to make it better. Crime is up, but there are many other variables that cause that too happen. The war is diminishing our police force.

They are working on those cases. But, that can't make people talk. Sometimes it would help if the citizens in that area just try to give a little information but they are scared. Please, they do solve the cases but you must not keep up with things.
You must not keep up because they still have 3 in one area unsolved and this makes 4. So why did it even reach 4?

Wups! You are the Carp Of The Day!

However, the first "Golden Swordfish Award" ever to be bestowed goes to us posters. 25 posts until one came up like this. We must keep thinking actual thoughts rather than reacting with our more reptilian instincts --which is always easiest.

Great Job!

Like these shooters HAVE gun permits!!!!!!! You need a permit to post here, regardless of your age, if you think permits would stop these druggies.

That's just one of the problems. Letting 18 year old people get gun permits. I didn't say anything about the druggies.

I would dare to say that not ONE of the perps have permits for their guns. Only us law-abiding citizens concerned with our self-defense bother to get one. We can't count on the police to be on the scene at all times.

Crime will continue as long as we have the system that we have now. So you lock me up for a crime, I may get out before you get the paper work done. If I have to serve time, with free food, free health care, free dental and TV pay for by the taxpayers. And I will not be lonely because I will have more time to hang with my buddies that I knew on the streets.

I can remember if you were arrested and taken to jail, you could almost plan on a detour on the way. Opps, did I say that?

And if you remembewr Bart Peterson said that this 65% income tax raise was going to solve all this crime. Is it working?
mad, don't take it out on poor Monroe Gray. He has not been looking very happy of late.:)
Err, that tax went into effect on what, 10/1? Do you think they've hired all the officers, trained them, and gotten them on the street in 9 days? It will probably be a year before we can evaluate the impact of that tax increase on public safety.

Frank cannot control these people. He can only put alot of heat on that area but he can't control them. What they need to do is control the age that you are allowed to get a gun permit.
What are you talking about? Do you really thing these animals bother with a gun permit? Do you think they go to a local gun store and legally purchase a gun? The animals steal them, but a gun permit isn't even in the picture.

I can't believe that there are this many homicides going unsolved!!! Enough is enough, no matter what race or background of a person. The homicide detectives need to get off their asses and solve something. I don't see why they are getting paid. Everybody should be pissed about their taxes getting raised and still nothing is being done. You can't even go out and have a good time anymore.
Yes you can go out and have a good time, if you limit your targets to opportunity, to insure you only use thugs for targets. That is fun.

As a resident north sider, I know a little about the area. I know that the 99% of my neighbors don't have guns.
I know that 100% of thugs do not have permits for their guns.
I know where I can go to rent a gun .
I know that I used to think that you control the guns and you control the violence.
I know you're living outside reality if you still believe the crooks will ever get rid of their guns.

Your right I must say. Just like the other 200 he put on the streets the last tax raise. So we are now up to 300 new offericers on the streets.

BTW if you read about the new tax, 42% went into the general fund account.
