Could we have maybe spent over 1/2 of the article talking about the actual GAMES that were played instead of rehashing what happened on Friday night between two teams that DID NOT play each other last night?!?

If you would have also bothered to ask a few questions about Friday night to people who actually knew what happened, you probably would have found out that NONE of the students involved were from Broad Ripple and very few were from Arlington -- the girl who was shot was from Tech. Will you be writing an article about the threat of violence in the stands at the next Warren Central basketball game since some of the kids arrested on Friday AT the Broad Ripple game were actually WARREN CENTRAL students?!?

Larry Nicks also needs to stop acting like these things only happen when Broad Ripple hosts the Arlington game. I've been to just about as many Broad Ripple vs. Arlington games as he has over the years, and there have been PLENTY of times at Arlington when the game has had to be stopped due to fighting in the stands, and the fighting has covered over into the parking lot after the game.

I'm not defending anything that happened or pretending that all of the Broad Ripple kids are perfect. However, I just strongly disagree with the idea that the story of fighting in the stands at a game on Friday night (which did not involve ANY of the players) needs to be discussed in this article. There were two great games played last night, and your readers deserve to hear more about THOSE.

I concur with Really, talk about what went on last night and not Friday two different games with two different outcomes. IndyStar along many other media outlets love to "make news" and not report news!
