How about trying a different offensive scheme rather than the "Air Raid Attack" Houston??? That offense will always produce ridiculous points and yardage, Texas Tech runs the same scheme. Its all a gimmick. When Case Keenum goes to the NFL, your all going to see the supposed "heisman candidate" BUST like a piniata when he has to play in a pro-style offense...you'll see.

Why would they use a different offense when it has produced the best offense in the country two years running? It even gave Alabama fits the year prior.
Now, the defense, that's different. UTEP exposed what was a glaring weakness for Houston last year, stopping the run. Buckram was a nightmare to stop and I think we were gassed a bit at the end of the game. However, UTEP gets to see our 3-4 scheme for the first time and I think it will slow things down a bit for the Miners. There will be lots of points on the board, no question.
But in the end, you're on our turf this time, and we didn't win 15 games in a row at home by accident. UH 62, UTEP 35.
