The plan was to pound it. And pound it. And pound it some more. Houston raced away to a big lead before the Miners began implementing that plan -- but once UTEP began to pound the ball inside, deep down in the paint to the big fellas, this dance was over.

Thanks! Yeah, you are right I cant keep up with the miners anymore. I guarantee you I know alot more then that person who called me an idiot does though!! And I didn't say they sucked. Houston record is just not that impressive which is why I said they are a Bad team. They did show up to play though. Some people made some great comments that they were able to show they can come back from behind and win. As I said,a win is a win. Every team has a bad night but if they are able to still win which they were that is what matters more! Good luck saturday Utep.

Did you watch the same game? What 'The Truth' said was true. Aside from smothering defense at times, UTEP didn't play particularly well. If you watched the game you saw that the outside shooting was abysmal, free throws were clanking and our offense, other than DC, and Williams at times, was stagnant. That being said, UTEP played with what they seemed to lack earlier in the year...HEART! No ****,'THE TRUTH' couldn't keep up with any player on the Miners, however neither could any of their coaches, and yet they observe things and critique them all the time. Even a stat sheet doesn't lie. Did you check it out? Of course there were the intangibles that many people don't see and one happens to be the way Culpepper made Coleman really work for most of his 23 points. He wore Coleman out, and himself in the process. HEART!!! The thing I disagree with 'The Truth' about is that Houston doesn't suck, and is a decent team with a couple of players that can light it up night in and night out. UTEP will have to play better ball to beat Tulsa and that's 'THE TRUTH'. Go MINERS!!!
