Houston will win a lot of football games this year. UTEP was in position on defense to make some plays, but poor tackling is the issue. Poor technique equals poor performance. Again stupid penalties stopped what could have been good drives. No one really expected UTEP to beat Houston. Our offensive line did not do a good job blocking the Houston linebackers. I expect everything will improve in the coming weeks. Too bad about Amy. It is a shame to end his career that way.

"This is what happens in war," Isaiah Carter said of Amy's injury. "Sometimes you get casualties. Carter is a damn moron for comparing football to war....what an ignorant pendejo!

So now UTEP will quit. This always happens, one guy gets hurt and the team honors him by going yellow and quitting for the rest of the season. The moment he got hurt, the defense folded. There is a reason better D-1 schools passed you guys up.... you have zero heart, zero guts, zero pride... all this team ever does is look for reasons to quit. I pity Amy... his tears are the frustration of what could have been if he had selected, or even walked on to a team that would have really honored the NFL caliber talent that was unfortunately housed in a too fragile body.

Ah ha, yes, blah. blah, blah, blah, blah...when pigs fly!
Haven't we heard this garbage before by UTEP players?
Bottom line is, utep SOCKS, period, end of story!
UTEP's defnsive woes will continue because they don't have the plyers able to compete at a high level! They are the left over recruits that no self respecting D1 school wants on their team!
footbal leftover scraps, if you will!
And coach Price boasted that this was his, "best team", since he got here? He said that with a straight face too!
It seems as though coach Price has lost the fire and desire! He's merely here collecting a paycheck that UTEP is only too willing to give him, no matter what results Price produces!
UTEP and Bob Stull, you're being snookered by an old flim-flam man, Price! He's over the hill!

Would you say that Paterno is "over the hill"?
Or Knute Rockne in his era?
Or Amos Alonzo Stagg?
Or Tom Landry?
El Paso fans are idiots...you have a top coach and can't see that fact right before your eyes. What top, young coach is going to go to UTEP??? Answer: There isn't one. So stop dreaming and support what we have here now. There is a chance for a bowl season...it just so happens that the Miners ran into the Houston Cougars early in the season, and Houston is a fantastic football team. UTEP will win the next 3 games: NMSU, UNM, and Memphis, and UTEP will be 4-1.
Stop bitching, moaning, and whining, Miner "fans."

The story says it all. The Miners were out coached and out played. The latter is a reflection of the former. One other thing about Price's hopefully soon to end reign - he can't recruit either. The game has passed him by. Obvioulsy he and his coaches are spending too much time on the golf course durng the off season and not enought breaking down film of the other teams in the conference much less the rest of the nation. FIRE PRICE NOW! Don't wait until the end of the season.
