UCF suffers worst home loss since '98

UCF senior guard Jermaine Taylor sensed there was a big problem before tipoff. The Knights were lackadaisical in the layup line before taking on high-scoring Houston.

Jermaine Taylor is an amazing player, and the Central Florida community is missing out on the chance to see a guy that very well could wind up on an NBA roster next season.
With such a young team, UCF is bound to have a bad game every now and again ... but wow ... I certainly never expected to sit through something THAT bad. But as I said, it's just one game. Wouldn't shock me a bit to see the Knights play them tough in Houston.

Yes, it was a tough game to watch. Except for JT and TD getting their points, too many rookie mistakes from our freshman guards and poor defense all around. But Houston put on a sizzling display of shooting...almost 100% from the foul line and over 70% from the field in the 2nd half. Hard to stop a hot shooting team like that.
