Russell Westbrook sounds good to me. Going into the draft, you never know who's going to fall be it O.J. or Jarryd. For sure, the draft should just be the beginning of things to come.

Alan,
Russell Westbrook is the perfect guy for the knicks
he want's to play point guard, he has the skill level
and desire to play the position for the Knicks.
he is a smart kid with an upside.

Any trades Donnie Walsh makes should be for
additional draft picks & salary cap relief.

David Lee does not fit here, i would trade him for
a first round pick between 12-15 and draft Donte
Jones from Syracuse. Also if we can trade for a
second round pick Joey Dorsey would be the pick.

The Knicks lacked defense, toughness, leadership,
athlethism & versility of there roster. These guys
would fit the bill.

If you can unload Zach Randolph for expiring contracts
would be great. let marbury, Rose & Fred Jones
contracts. Build a young foundation for the 2010
free-agent class.

Alan,
Forget the quick fixes, T.J.Ford, Jamal Tinsley, Mo Williams,
Michael Redd, Ron Artest, Baron Davis,Ben Gorden, Jermaine O'neil.

The Knicks need to rebuild thru youth. If Joe Dumars wants Zach Randolph for Rasheed Wallace (expiring contract) ans Jason Maxeil
or Rodney Stuckey you make the deal.
or any expiring contracts for that matter.

Also Barbosa & Diaw make no sense for the Knicks, bad contracts, not great players.

Look back in Knicks history when they trade their first round draft picks. Yeah, the track record is not good!!!!!!!!!!

Donnie Walsh needs to add picks & trade dead weight for expiring contracts. no buy-outs, let the garbage disapear. David Lee & Jamal Crawford probably get you draft picks & expiring contracts.
