UH releases Sugar Bowl fiscal data, travel list

Too bad no one asked the UH to disclose the travel information for every away game throughout the 2008 season. I wonder if they got away w/ more shibai that goes beyond the Sugar Bowl.

I am an HGEA member and I'd like to know who among my fellow members were granted the travel benefits. Are their jobs related to the football business at the UH? If they won't release their names, I want them to disclose the job classifications and descriptions.

I traveled on state business a few times on taxpayers' dime (my dime included). Not once was my spouse ever included with my itinerary. If he wanted to tag along, we paid his way separately. My per diem covered the hotel room, my transportation to/from the airport, and my meals. The gray area is the meals because it's a set amount per meal. Spouses are allowed to stay in the same room and that's more or less it.
