does anyone else find it interesting that the suspended license was due to a ticket he received for not wearing a seatbelt? I have been following this story, and the other reports /comments here all seemed to point that it was an unpaid speeding ticket. Derogatory comments about Wiggins ensued, by some (lots) stating he is a punk, thug, assumed he was a reckless driver, who speeds and drinks behind the wheel, even comments were made about how he was raised and how he should be kicked off the team etc.. I guess what it boils down to, is that he is a college kid who didn't wear his seatbelt once, sat in his parked car too long, bought some alcohol though had not yet drank it, and smoked some herbs in the past but not this time. and I think of all of those here so self righteous and pathetic with their hate speech. I’m sure Dougie will accept your apologies now.

I almost was not going to respond because your statement is so wrong. You have it a** backward if you believe anyone owes Dougie an apology. It is definitely the other way around. Someone who has twice failed drug tests, previously suspended, driving with a suspended license, and had alcohol in his car (we won't even discuss the weed outside of the car) needs to re-evaluate where he wants to go in life. And--he needs to apologize to his Mom, team mates, coaches, fellow students, and the fans who have been supporting him. Both you and he need to get your priorities straight.
