Well, we will have to see what comes out about the "struggle" that led up to this mans death.

Jorge was one of my best friends growing up. I have often thought back about him and remembered how he was the most generous, caring student in school. He always made everyone laugh and would cry with you if you were upset. Even as a child, he took care of his sisters and mother and was so proud to be a brother. He always had a good reputation in Manchester and was a favorite of all the teachers in school, even those who didn't have him in class. Jorge never upset anyone in his life. I cannot fathom what could have led to this.

Why are you people so heartless? A 20 year old, a young man, lost his life due to somebody elses carelessness.
I knew Jorge, i went to school with him. I also worked with him. He was a sweetheart. He always had this big warm smile on his face, and he never talked bad about anybody. He was the type of person that when you were feeling down, he was right there to cheer you up.
It doesn't matter what race he was, or even in fact how he died! The point is, a life was lost this weekend. And all you people have to say is negative things to a person thats dead, that you didn't even know!?
My god, how cruel can you people get.
Have a heart.

...RIP jorge.
Best wishes to his family and closest friends.=[

Ironic that the central image on this myspace page is a gun pointed at the viewer... and the lyrics of "survival of the strong" glorify exactly the sort of mindless violence that killed Jorge.

This whole "gangster" culture is a fiction invented by the people who perpetrate it. There is no need for young people to be killing each other over money, drugs or an imagined "respect."

These fools think respect comes at the barrel of a gun. Fear, maybe- it's easy to create fear- but respect- never.

Grow up. Get a job. Stop killing each other.

These are lessons that need to be learned from this tragedy. Will they be learned, or do we simply have another martyr to the wannabe gangster lifestyle?

I knew Jorge. I also knew Justin. This shouldn't have happened. Maybe if they weren't wallowing in a culture that celebrates crime and violence, it wouldn't have happened.

Geez, thanks for the link.

Here was the first "song" I noticed on the MySpace page of Mr. Rivera.

""Tru$quad-4Lipha$ P.M.E F**K Y'ALL TOO BEEFTAPE "

... for your dining and dancing pleasure.

Highly recommend everyone here visits the link. Listen to the all of his Lyrics ... especially the lilting: "Where Connecticut At"? Then think of the world this guy inhabited and maybe, just maybe, some of the reasons for his violent death will be clearer.

Have you considered writing some lyrics like his? You know you just might have a career ...

Now why would I have "been sincere" about someone who viewed my state, my country, my fellow citizens, my brothers in law enforcement, and especially women, when all this guy did was talk about violence, gangsters, hoods, bitches and worse.

I sincerely hope he rests in peace but he obviously had none here, and he sure wasn't spreading any to the rest of us.

I hope you just go by the name of "Early Childhood Adv" and that is not your profession. You have very warped opinions on every blog you appear on. Who cares about tox screens, girlfriends or arguments. No One has the right to take a life. You should be saying a prayer for his family right now instead of looking for the evil in the people involved.
