Great article but nowhere does it say how to get some if you don't have any girl scouts around.
They should have a website and sell through there!

The most annoying time of the year: when parents do their kid's work for them and harass and guilt-trip their co-workers into buying crappy cookies. Yay.

Click on the Cookie Locator button on the cookievote.com Web page. You'll be enjoying some cookies after that.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. The most annoying time of year is the beginning of the school year. That's when the kids bring the dreaded "PTO fundraiser". I would rather guilt my co-workers with cookies than with wrapping paper and magazine subscriptions.

Hey PTO, I'll write you a check if you leave my kids alone!

I don't have a Girl Scout in my family, so I'm glad when the parents bring them in. None of the people at my place of employment "harass" anyone. They leave the sheet on a table and it magically fills up. You are very cranky; go have a Thin Mint.

Is it possible - just possible - that we work in different companies with different people? I think it might be.
It's not my opinion that people get pressure into buying crappy cookies here - it's a known fact.

Girl Scout cookies have to be among the worst, overpriced cookies on the planet.

The public years for decent, home made chocolate chip cookies - and I don't mean those toll house slice and cook jobs either.

The GS would be better served if they just got mom to buy some flour, eggs, sugar, chips, and walnuts and would just make the damned things themselves.

I'd buy a plate of those in a heartbeat.

Keep the mass produced keebler junk, I don't want it.

Hm let's see...
Flour-.99 (small bag)
Sugar.99(ditto)
Chips-2.99
Eggs-1.39
Butter-.79

approx 6$ to make maybe 3 dozen cookies.
Total 9$@ 25 per cookie, minus 6 ingrediants...profit marg 3$

Labor-Minimum wage?(nope)

May the force be with GS of A once a year sales of Thin Mints lol.
