Kalana Greene is BAAACK!!!! A bright and shining star in an otherwise bland start.

One word of advice for Geno--McLaren learns little on the bench. Teach her during lulls in the action and during timeout's. You and I know she has the ability to play superb defense and can score. The trick is to let her know she can do it again ---and every game day!!!

I know Geno thinks little of Cassie Kerns other than a practice player---but gems sometimes shine when given some light. Mara Conlin was one of those gems. When the going gets tough--the tought get going---give Cassie a try.

I know I am no John Wooden, but who is????

Freddy Kool, It has be said that the Home Court advantage was worth 10 points, with the UConn crazies at this game, it's probably true---so Uconn lost by 1 point. Is that a great game ---when you look at the All Americans on the UConn team and the Freshmen and Soph's on Ga. Tech?? Not a great game--but any win is a win..

Loma Linda,
You need a lesson in arithmetic. UCONN still won by one point with the 10 point home advantage.(82-71=11)

What game are you playing/watching game? If UConn didn't have its All Americans they'd lose. That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. Well, UConn has great players and they won. Too bad!!

With San Diego St. and Okla coming up, the immediate future for UConn Fans looks bleek, unless Geno's women play with more definition.

San Diego St. Played a more veteran UConn team to the wire and gave Geno fits with their defense--their hands were everywhere and their feet moved faster than Swanier. They are a VERY tuff team.

Oklahoma and Sherry Coales with Stacey Hansmeyer are among the deepest and best teams and most experienced team in the country--they are a pleasure to watch, but will beat Uconn in the post. Besides the Paris sisters they have more post depth. Okla guards are always the best and Okla always recruits shooter. The first true test of UConn All Americans.

Jim Calhoun, no wonder you only recruit those fringe people. How many more Myles can you go before you retire??
UConn women have three All American Candidates--you guess who they are. Georgia Tech has none. There was a 3 point lead with 3plus minutes left to play--and Georgia Tech did it without anyone 6"3 or bigger and no All Americans--just tough defense and good three point shooting. Uconn did not have a great win!!! But in Uconn world any win is a good win. They need to play much better if they expect to get past San Diego St.--
let us see if they can show San Diego their All American shirts and SD St will just give up?? Yea...

My dear sir, you are a bigot, sexists, and without knowledge of Basketball or life for that matter.

The REAL Jim Calhoun is none of the above. He is a talented man trying to win with whatever he can dig up.

I was unaware that "outhouses" were still in vogue in Connecticut or Florida for that matter. I think you have been a victim of the fumes. Tell me Jim what is the correct prounciation of Coupon?? Koo or Q??

As the Spanish say you are a grande
pend-----!!!
