interesting developments for those schools down south, agents are everywhere and seem to be ruining collegiate athletics, I would not want my son or daughter going to any of the programs being investigated, there is just something odd about the schools down here, like how can they get away with offerring 30+ schollarships per year, leniency on academics etc. this may be the beginning of some perilous times for some of these schools

Yeah, who knows how much truth there is in these investigations, the SEC better hope it turns out clean or they will have a black cloud following them in the future.

USC is more like the court jester at least for the next five years. You can have California and your money grubbing women who won't eat anything but a salad and a smoothie. You can keep all your vegan wheatgrass eating flamers out there. In the meantime I am going to have my wife, a real woman, go throw a couple steaks on the grill for us and kick back a few beers. All this while you are out paying $15 a pop for some fruity drink at a bar trying to get some gold digger drunk enough that she will forget about your lack of bank account so you can drag her to your apartment and spend the best 30 seconds of your life.

And the down side to this? Go ahead and talk yourself into some biblebelt loving ritualistic routine, bang your humdrum, repetitious ya'llllll wife, get fat on your Pabst Blue Ribbon and throw some of that artery clogging southern gravy on your steak. You'll be dead before I trade in my next car, my BMW or a Jag.

Haha, you are really trying to compare beautiful Southern california and... haha, you?! haha haha haha

Haha, BMW or Jag? Truth as to what you currently drive, KIA. I bet you lease it too, since you spend too much money trying to get a woman, you can't afford to buy a car.

It's not limited to certain programs. Thse activities with agents are tied to great players. Agents are everywhere. Chris Carter and Joey Galloway both hooked up with agents and lost playing time because of it. Other Ohio State players have accepted money and gifts from agents as well.

Sometimes coaches embrace these agents and use them to help with recruiting. College football is a shady game all the way around and it's not limited to a few schools. Name a top 20 program and you can bet that grades are being fixed, money is changing hands and agents have access to the top players.

USC will recover from their penalties quicker than most schools. First of all, California is home to some of the best High School football in the country. I know we like to think Ohio is the best, but California is right up there. California's population has risen while Ohio's has dwindled. The balance of power has shifted.

Of course, USC has no trouble recruiting from out of state. It's L-frickin-A. A dumb jock gets one look at those perfectly sculpted women, cruises by the hot spots and sees the famous people in the stands and USC is on everybody's final list.

I think USC will win the PAC 10 two years after they complete their suspension.

Since most jocks are a little dumb, the fact that our jocks pick a picture perfect school in a picture perfect environment proves they are actually smarter then the dumb jocks that go to schools in other forsaken areas of the country.

I can bet that you can't name anyone off this thread that has ever been on a USC forum in topix. It may be true that there are OSU fans on your threads, but that makes them idiots. I didn't know you were all about joining the idiot party as well.

It's funny though, we seem to recruit at the same talent level as USC, and we are in a cold winter town. Must mean we are doing something right on the academic and football side of the coin while your teams rely on weather and money to attract them.

No its just that too many are poossies to be too far away from their parents so they continue to reside in that foresaken cold flatland you have back there and go to those tundra schools you have in the Big Ten

Really? Because I seem to recall Tressel recruiting some great talent out of the state of Florida...they must want to leave the beach, right?
