Hey that great joke about the rednecks that see UGA licking his scrote...one says " Dang,I wish I could do that." The other one says, "Oh you can Delray, but he's gonna bite you!"

Now this is some serious breaking news. I recommend 24 hour coverage with an in-depth analysis and history of the bulldog. And of course a round-the-clock vigil at the dog funeral home.

Since this news affects the lives of millions of people, even more so than the economy, the war, and crime, let's make sure we milk it for all it's worth for the week at least.

This is journalism at its best.

That dog was alittle young, don't you think? I am sure his owner cared but dogs like that can get too hot easily in the summer.

Obviously a good omen.
Uga VI was retrieved by the god of all mascots, telling Uga AND SHOWING US HE HAS DONE HIS JOB IN BRINGING Georgia Football to the promised land.
Now it is a new UGAs turn to complete the job which he was obviously born to do. Take us to the championship Game.

Amen - Go DAWGS

I'm sorry to hear of Uga's passing. Having lived in Atlanta for many years and tolorating UGA graduates (I'm a USC grad), I can understand the sorrow of the bulldog nation.

I'm certain though the come September, a new Uga will be on the sidelines of Sanford Stadium.

It IS a sad loss. He will be buried today at the stadium. I am wearing my Georgia black shirt in mourning and will stop for a moment of silence at 3:00 est. I know he is watching from heaven and the Bulldog Nation will have his and new UGA's guidance to a winning championship season.

This is a moment when all the SEC schools can stand together and honor a great tradition and a wonderful mascott.

Are all the former UGAs buried between the hedges ?

We all gotta go sometime. In his case he out rated most people in an obit notice. Still, it beats having to read about Lohan or Spears.

How touching. Bless his little heart. I love our pets and I know how hard it is to lose one. Yes it is a sad day for the Bulldog Nation, and this is one Buckeye fan who is is thinking of all of you. And I agree, with Woody and Bo, Uga will watch the Dawgs win a NC this year. At least thats what I predict. Take care.
