Larry Munson can't retire yet!! He needs to give us one more season so we can chersish the voice of Georgia! This year will be my last football season as a UGA student and it won't be the same without Munson. I just named my puppy bulldog "Munson" after him and his legacy!

What a class guy who admits he might not be at his best for dog nation. Bring on Buck. He bleeds Georgia Red and Black and a true dog. Larry was the best and can never really be replaced.

As a lifelong Georgia fan, I can't imagine UGA football without Larry Munson behind the microphone, but his health is first and foremost. My prayers are with him, and I hope he makes the decision that's best for him.

No doubt that Ga. fans will miss Larry Munson. I will miss him. However, I am 60 and can no longer go and do like I once could. Your body starts to tell you when it is time to slow down or just plain stop. As much as I would like to see Larry Munson in the booth this fall, I can understand why he feels like that maybe it is time to hang it up. Face it Georgia, sooner or later we have to let him go.

When the legendary John Ward left the University of Tennessee broadcast booth it was the end of an era. The same will be true for Larry Munson. We do have the technology today which could allow Larry to co-broadcast from the comfort of his home each week.

When watching UGA football on TV, how many of us turn off the sound and turn on the radio because no one does it better than Larry Munson? If Larry decides to retire, we will miss him greatly; however, after 41 years of making everyone else happy, it is time for him to sit back, chew on a cigar, watch his favorite movies and cheer on the DAWGS!

If Munson must retire - Kevin Butler is my vote. Dad in the booth; son on the field.

mr. munson and my dad, scott howard, have been working together for years. i wish him well in his retirement. although i hope that he could finish out one more season, his health is crucial at this point. thank you for leading the way for many aspiring broadcasters, larry. i know it won't be the same without you, but i hope that my dad can leave a lasing legacy almost as great as yours. UGA will miss you greatly.

Much to my sadness, it's going to be hard to turn on the radio and not Larry's raspy voice on road games...but, I know that all good things must come an end. well almost.
To Larry if you read this..Thanks for making my saturday afternoons exciting and thanks for making me a bulldog fan.
