Hasheem an NBA prospect? Not at this point in time. Okafor always played with passion. Thabeet does not move enough or fight hard enough to get himself open-that's why he doesn't get touches. How many times did UCONN guards try to dribble into the heart of the 3-2 zone...only to lose the ball? Why no 3's attempted in the 2nd half after AJ made a couple in the first half, especially when you're down 12+? The zone defense will kill this team all season long...and I agree that maybe UCONN should also play more zone because their man-to man defense just doesn't measure up!!

Thabeet was right in one sense that this is a team game. The problem is, no one stepped up.
I can not imagine Ben Gordon, Caron Butler, Rip Hamilton, Ray Allen or many other Calhoun recruits playing so poorly. This trend began with the Rudy Gay, Josh Boone, etc team of underachievers and continues to this day.
The current crop does not get it. I don't know what it will take, but JC has not yet found the formula.
