You didn't mention one of the more recent close games my alma matter No. 1 seed Villanova only beat No. 16 seed Monmouth 58-45 in 2006.

Lets go Mt. St. Mary's!!! Give the Heels a night to remember. A 16th seed will have to win soon or the number of teams in the tourney should be reduced.

I think we may have overlooked one potential upset that is right in our own backyard: 1990 Towson (no.16) at Oklahoma (no.1). The game ended 77-68, but was a one point game with under two minutes to go. That certainly qualifies as an almost monster upset!!

The American University Eagles, a 15 seed taking on #2 Tennessee will win on Friday. AU is the 4th best three-point team in the country. Watch for a buzzer beater!

lets remember princeton too. 50-49 losers to Georgetown.

the 16 seed upset of the 1 has only happened once and that was in the Women's game back in 2002.

Harvard beat Stanford, 71-68 on 35 points from Allison "The Snake" Feaster.

Even if the Mount gets crushed tomorrow, the season has still been one to remember. For those of you who aren't familiar with the events that have occured in recent weeks at the Mount, namely the passing of beloved Dustin B., the basketball team's success has been a great boost for the University and fans. Just making the tournament was great to see.

LETS GO MOUNT!
